In his Oakland-based private practice, Dr. Greene supports children, adults, and families through psychotherapy and psychological assessment. He also conducts bilingual Spanish language evaluations for adolescent and young adult refugees seeking asylum in the United States and Dr. Greene is a co-founder of Surf Circle, a therapeutic surf program for adolescent boys, which combines surf lessons and group therapy on the beach. In another capacity, Dr. Greene serves as a health advisor within Healthline Media’s medical network, where he writes, produces, and consults on mental-health related content.

Passionate about community mental health and social justice, Dr. Greene’s clinical work is viewed primarily through multicultural and relational psychodynamic clinical lenses. This framework was built through his predoctoral internship and postdoctoral residency training experiences at WestCoast Children’s Clinic, a community clinic in Oakland’s Fruitvale neighborhood that serves predominantly foster and adopted youth. Dr. Greene’s clinical and research passions include treatment of childhood trauma, psychological resilience, and healthy masculine development.
