Position Summary
The HR Accessibility Services Coordinator promotes an inclusive environment for students with disabilities. We equip differently abled students through accommodations and services to achieve their individual academic goals. We are dedicated to supporting disabled students and collaborating with the campus community to remove barriers to educational access and embrace the Wright Institute's values. We believe that an accessible environment universally benefits everyone. Differently abled faculty and staff are also provided with appropriate accommodations.
Using knowledge and skills as an experienced professional in the disabilities field, the Coordinator deals with a wide range of accommodation situations; for complex issues they consult with relevant experts to ensure appropriate support, while also provisioning HR generalist support.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift and reach for light objects (up to 5lbs); close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, text, and figures; ability to type utilizing a computer keyboard; ability to travel to outside locations; ability to communicate and exchange information; ability to move about the office to access file cabinets and office equipment; and the ability to remain stationary and work at a computer in an open work space for extended periods of time as a primary job function. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The Wright Institute provides those in full-time positions with group long-term disability insurance coverage while employed. The benefit package includes vacation days accrued at a rate of 1.75 per month and sick days accrued at a rate of 1 day per month.
