Position Summary
Reporting to the Counseling Program Director, the Field Placement Director manages all Field Placement (FP) tasks for all students in the Counseling Program as they prepare to become Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs) and/or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors (PCCs). The FP Director builds and maintains relationships with community agency partners and supports students in finding and navigating clinical practicum placements. The FP Director collaborates with Counseling Program faculty and administrators to support students in meeting graduation requirements related to clinical work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and a minimum of three years' experience. Pertinent work experience may be substituted for some of the educational requirements provided the level of skill and knowledge base are equivalent.
